Trump Approves TikTok Deal; Now What? The Trump administration gave its initial approval to a deal where Oracle and Walmart each take a minority stake in a new US-based TikTok company. There's still a ton of details to work out, though, which we guess isn't too surprising. 2. Microsoft Buys ZeniMax Media (Including Bethesda) Microsoft gonna be Microsoft, buttoning up highly-respected game company ZeniMax Media (Elder Scrolls, Doom, Fallout) with a staggering $7.5B deal. Here's hoping they don't make all the games exclusive to Xbox/PC now. 3. Twitter Admits to Racial Bias, Will Do "More Analysis" An independent study of Twitter's algorithm found a racial bias when prioritizing photos. The social media company responded with "we have more work to do," which, yeah, obviously. 🦑 Go Deeper Finally, Google Maps is back on Apple Watch. Unfortunately, it's not as great an experience as we had hoped.
