New Windows Updates Target Active Security Issues Microsoft has released a series of security updates for Windows designed to address 44 security issues that have been actively exploited. Microsoft hasn't revealed how the exploits work, but it recommends users download the security fixes as soon as they are available on their system. Get on it, people! 2. 1Password Releases Software Update for Early Access Password manager 1Password has released the newest version of its security service on Mac, bringing improvements to the user interface, menus, and password generation. It's the first major update the service has had on Mac in over three years, which should please the Mac and 1Password users out there. 3. Signal Adds Default Timer to Disappearing Messages  Popular messaging app, Signal, now allows anyone to turn on a default timer for disappearing messages. In a blog post, the company said the disappearing messages setting would automatically apply to any new conversations. Ready to have really private conversations?
