YouTube Testing a 'Premium Lite' Subscription Service YouTube is testing a stripped-down version of YouTube Premium, dubbed Premium Lite. The new tier seems to remove ads (hurray!), but doesn't let you download videos to watch offline, or play videos in the background (boooo!). Worth it?
