Windows 11 Is Now Available for Some Users Microsoft began rolling out Windows 11 on Tuesday, starting with Windows 10 PCs and those that launched with a preloaded version of Windows. Users will be notified of their eligibility over the coming months, with Microsoft aiming to complete the rollout sometime in mid-2022. Who's excited for a new OS?! 2. Facebook Says Massive Outage Caused by Backend Changes Facebook released an official apology concerning Monday's extended outage. The bad news? It was seemingly caused by changes made to the router system Facebook uses for network data. The good news? There's no evidence user data was compromised. Guess we get to use Facebook again? Yay. 3. Google to Make 2FA Default for Millions of Users Google has announced plans to enroll 150 million of its users into its two-factor authentication system by the end of 2021. For those who can't use 2FA, though, alternatives are in the works that will offer a similar secure process.
