It's October 19, 2021. It's National Seafood Bisque Day! You know what that means! Relax and treat yourself to a nice bowl of Seafood Bisque full of your favorite seafood. We like Shrimp in our's. ⏰ Today's Big Stories... in 30 Seconds Today We Watched, Read, and Listened to (so you don't have to): 433 articles, 8 podcasts, 1511press releases, 228 tweets, and 6 YouTube videos 1. Apple Unveils New MacBook Pros Apple showed off a two new MacBook Pros on Monday with a 16- and 14-inch model both designed for new Apple silicon (see below). The new MBP features more ports than before, the return of MagSafe and a higher-rez webcam. Powerful stuff, Apple! 2. Apple Reveals Two New Chips: M1 Pro and M1 Max Those new MacBook Pros need something to power them, and the new M1 Pro and M1 Max are set to do just that. They're crazy powerful and Apple claims they use far less power (up to 70%) than competing high-end PC processors, which is probably a good thing when you're out and about. 3. New AirPods Come Out Next Week The latest version of Apple's famous wireless earbuds have the Adaptive EQ and spatial audio of their Pro sibling, but none of the noise canceling. They're also set to last you up to six hours on a charge, which is a lovely number when you're wanting to listen all day. 🦑 Go Deeper While we're here talking about Apple gear, the new Apple Watch Series 7 has a few small improvements that our own Sascha Brodsky details in his first look at Apple's new wearable. Bigger screen, anyone? 🎱 By the Numbers Poor HP Data: Gartner Sure, Apple doesn't sell as many computers as Lenovo, HP, or Dell, but it's definitely on the rise. The company from Cupertino shows a 31.3% growth in units sold from Q4 in 2019 to Q4 in 2020, which incidentally is the time period when the new M1 chip came out. Coincidence? Probably not. 🔥 Today's Hot Deal
