Its small size and low price made it some of the more popular iPod models, but it always felt like something was missing, right? Apple Quietly Discontinues Beats Pill+ Speaker The Beats Pill+ Bluetooth speaker may be on the outs, as listings have been removed from several online retailers, including Apple's webstore and the Beats by Dre shop. There doesn't seem to be a new model on the horizon to act as a replacement, either. Bummer for fans of Apple's portable speakers. 2. Spotify Continues to Delay HiFi Audio In a forum thread on Spotify's Community page, a moderator revealed that the company is still working on HiFi audio, but couldn't give an exact release date. The feature was announced in February 2021, but these things take time, people. That said, some insight wouldn't hurt either, Spotify. 3. Apple Highlights How Well All of Its Services Performed in 2021 Apple did a lot in 2021, and it's more than happy to tell you about it. From Apple Music to Fitness+, each of its services held their own and expanded, like Fitness+ now having over 2,000 studio-style sessions, or Apple Music supporting spatial audio.
