1. Google Adds iOS 16 Widgets for YouTube, Drive, Maps, and More

After its initial tease of adding iOS 16 lock screen and home screen widgets to its iPhone apps, Google has finally delivered. Now you can add quick-selection tools, app shortcuts, and more from different Google apps, like YouTube and Maps. Using apps without actually opening them? We love that for ourselves.

2. Netflix to Begin Charging Extra for Account Sharing Next Year

Netflix is done letting people share their accounts for free, as the streaming platform intends to charge users an additional fee to share their login info with others. There's no price yet, and it won't happen until 2023, but we can't see people being happy about it. At least Netflix with ads is only $6.99, right?

3. DuckDuckGo for Mac Beta Opens Up to the Public

The DuckDuckGo for Mac beta is now open to everyone, allowing Mac users to play with a new browser focused on their privacy. If making Incognito mode look like a joke, having a YouTube player that minimizes ads, and automatic cookie pop-up removal all sounds great to you, you'll want to install this asap.
