Apple is pushing a new update that makes AirTags louder, thereby making them easier to track down.

Apple Makes AirTags Louder So They're Easier to Find Apple has updated its AirTag alerts to now be significantly louder, allowing you to easily find the object it's attached to. The firmware update is slowly rolling out to AirTag owners, with the biggest number of people getting access to the new feature on May 3, May 9, and May 13. Mark those calendars. 2. You Can Now Ask Google to Remove Personal Info From Searches Google is now letting people request the removal of personal info from searches. Be ready to provide links to the source, a link to the Google search results, and a screenshot of the web page it appears on. Whether or not it acts on these requests is up to them, but having the option is nice, regardless. 3. Sony Disables Ability to Extend PS Plus Subscription Ahead of the PlayStation Plus rework, Sony has disabled the ability to extend a subscription's duration using PS Plus and PS Now cards/codes. This isn't a permanent change, though. Sony says these codes will still work, presumably after the service's relaunch. Basically, no more cheap time extensions for us. 🦑 Go Deeper Being able to repair your iPhone at home is nice and all, but Charlie Sorrel doesn't think Apple's new Self Service Repair program goes far enough. Heck, it may not even be a cheaper option. 🎱 By the Numbers People are mostly satisfied Data: Moz Google is the most popular search engine around, and it seems most people were happy with it back in 2019. At the time, most thought it had only improved over time, while 7% thought it dropped in quality due to seeing more ads and content from big companies.
