What is Cloud Computing?

'Cloud Computing' is a somewhat nebulous term to describe users 'renting' or borrowing online software software instead of actually purchasing and installing it on their own computers

What is Cloud Computing?
If, when you hear the term cloud computing, you tend to look up into the sky, don't worry, you're not alone. But, no, your data isn't stored over head (well, maybe if you are reading on the NYC subway or something). A good way to think of cloud computing is as someone else's computers. One question you might have about cloud computing is it really all that beneficial to you? Meanwhile, when you want to look up information (i.e. what is cloud computing?), make sure you know how to do the research properly.
